But it’s in their IEP

Whether you're still enjoying summertime, on vacation, prepping for back to school or have already gone BACK TO SCHOOL like some Students and Teachers in Oklahoma, you're should read this.
Hopefully, whatever stage you are in this summer, you took time to review your child's IEP.  Hopefully, Teachers will take time to review their Students IEPs BEFORE THE STUDENTS GO BACK TO SCHOOL.

Preparation, Collaboration, Positivity and Consistency is essential keys to an 'Enjoyable School Year'"All children can learn." Similar to the belief  'it takes a village to raise a child', then,

"it takes a Collaborative Team to successfully implement an appropriate IEP."
(an Enjoyable School Year principle)

Special Education & IEP Advisor Dennise Goldberg reflectly admonishes us all to get ready for the school year.  With a relatable titiel, Goldberg, shares the  "top responses heard after I uttered the words, “but it’s in their IEP”, TIPS are also provided."

Five little words, made up of only sixteen letters that every parent has uttered at one point or another if their child has an IEP. Who we said it to isn’t as important as the fact that we have all said it. I have written in the past about my Top Ten Special Education Pet Peeves and the Top Ten Most Ridiculous Comments I Ever Heard at an IEP but it’s time to discuss a new topic. Below are the top responses heard after I uttered the words, “but it’s in their IEP.”

Furthermore, Goldberg offers an opportunity to candidly share
What responses have you received after you uttered those five little words, “But it’s in their IEP.” Add them to the comment section below and as they come in I will include them above.
