thinking practical...

Hi5!

Came across this book.
IDK?
It's been 4 years since a diagnosis.
It's been 5 years since the onset of regression.
It's been 7 years since we've been blessed with our jovial, inquisitive, 'uniquely different' son.

Patterns have evolved.
But changes are evident, too.

What makes him happy?
What irritates him?
What makes him sad?
What makes him laugh?

What motivates him to talk?
What makes him shut-down in periods of complete silence?

What can he now tolerate?
What can't he self-regulate?

How much therapies are still needed?

Will this finally be a surgery-free school year?

Will he consider them as his friends this school year?
Will he show an interest in different schoolmates?
How's that pencil grip?

How is he sleeping?
Has eating preferences drastically altered?

Will he ever get a haircut?!
...
is our growing boy truly enjoying life?

It's important to reflect,  review, and  reassess various aspects of life at various stages in life.
